We'll need more info about this particular issue. Judging from what I
see in the small portion of panel you attached as a screenshot, I guess
you're not running unity. Could you please further describe your setup?
Is this xubuntu or another alternative version of Ubuntu? Is this indeed
not in unity, and instead using the standard gnome-panel with indicator
widgets?
