I can say that with a straight face since I've only worked here for a bit over a year, and have been pushing to get this fixed since I started. Firefox 4 is the first real major release I'm a part of, and it didn't make it this time around. I'm personally following this up for our next release. Don't assume things without having the facts. Now, please stop spamming this bug. It'll get fixed. Plugins stealing focus is already minimized on Mac OS X, so when we have a sane way of doing it, we do it. On Windows, things are more complicated. We'll get there, but not for Firefox 4. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/263435 Title: Firefox cannot close tab (using Ctrl-w) when flash content is selected on page -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
