I have the same problem. I just (in the last 2 hours) downloaded and installed Kubuntu 7.04 beta from the ISO, loaded the nvidia-glx drivers from the 'add/remove programs' and then went to configure my 'graphics & display' in the 'system settings' area. I click 'administrator mode', enter my password, and then all the buttons along the bottom are disabled. I found a work around though. If you drag the resolution slider around, the ok and apply buttons will enable themselves and you can then make whatever changes you want. I haven't actually verified that the changes are actually made to the xorg.conf file yet though.
Additional info: AMD x2 4400+ 939 with Biostar nforce4 mb and nvidia 6800 AGP and the only update I've installed to the base install of Kubuntu so far is the nvidia video driver. -- KDE's "System Settings: Display" is useless https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/61482 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for kde-guidance in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
