I have done each of the three proposed remedies. None work. Still no microphone (but the microphone did work until the recent) infamous update.
Before doing suggestion "C" I got static when I tried to record. But after completing suggestion "C" I get nothing - only silence. Can anyone help me to get my microphone working again?
