Like I said in the initial bug report. All these bugs individually aren't really a problem. It's the collective effect of all of them together that make Empathy unusable.
As for the suggestion that the ayatana mailing list is the right place for this kind of bug report, what's the point of having a bug tracker if I'm just going to get told to tell somebody else?
