The test print looks like that no pure black (ink from black cartridge) gets printed. Are you sure that your black cartridge is not empty? You can check ink levels running the command
hp-levels in a terminal window. Note also that the update you mentioned did not change the driver for your printer (It is a fix for Color LaserJet printers). Perhaps also power-cycling your printer can help.
