Everything went fairly smoothly with a couple of minor issues. 1) I had to remove all repositories other than the one being used for the upgrade from /etc/sources.list to get the upgrade going.
2) The upgrader hung on "Stopping bluetooth services," so I added this "exit 0" to /etc/init.d/bluetooth.
