So maybe it's an upstream bug in the "savage" driver?! So far, it only shows with "savage" on a S3 Savage driver card! However, on the same hardware, there are _no_ similar problems with distros like Pardus 2007.1, or Mandriva 2007.1 RC3, using "savage" too! I can't afford to reinstall Kubuntu on the same hardware right now, and it seems there isn't _anybody_ with an S3 Savage video card using Kubuntu :-(
