I used it on a 'VMware Player' virtual machine. Completely clean installation. I installed and then I upgrated. Then I upgraded.
I must have used a later updater version than the one described at http://www.ubuntu.com/news/Ubuntu704Beta Not only the upgrade window read "Distribution Upgrade" instead of "Upgrader <@lichts>" (or "Upgrader <'username'>") but it also close Adept on its' own (the guide said there was a bug and that I'd have to close it manually). At one point I was asked (konsole level) which combination I'd want to use in order to switch between the latin and non-latin (Greek in my case) keyboard. Then at the Cleaning Up stage I was asked for the removal of no longer supported packages. During the time of the upgrade only Konqueror was open in order to read the upgrade procedure.
