** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: gnome-session

When switching users and logging into a user that is already logged in
from the login screen, the user is logged out and returned to the login
screen. I have several family members using this computer, and some of
us need to compile and download things in the background while others
use this computer under their own account, and so this is very
detrimental to us. This kills all the processes and application data the
  logged in user was running.

Please tell me what other information would be useful and how to collect
  it.
