oops. I screwed things up. I added the interfaces to /etc/network.interfaces. When I removed them, I reverted back to my old behavior, except that ethernet worked on boot. nm-applet reappears. But when I unplug eth0 and connect to the wireles, /etc/resolv.conf is blank again
I am rerunning apport-collect with the wireless connected and resolv.conf manually edited. -- eth0 not allowed; Wireless gets no DNS https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/601456 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
