The latest patches and bug fixes for both the Gnome Password and Encryption Keyring Manager and Evolution as part of Ubuntu 10.04 LTS updates have resolved this long standing bug report. Issues were identified and fixed in the send/receive password exchange between Evolution and the Password and Encryption Keyring Manager directly relating to deadlocks and crashes that were reported in detail within this bug report.
