Your error_log does not show any problem and if I set up a printer with the same PPD as you are using, I get correct PostScript output and my HP LaserJet P3005 (PostScript printer) prints it correctly.
Can you turn on the function to print error pages in your printer's front panel menus? Perhaps some of the PostScript arriving at the printer causes errors in the printer's PostScript interpreter. If you get pages with error messages then, please post the messages here. To try to get the printer working, change its driver with system-config- printer (System -> Administration -> Printing). Try the foilowing alternatives: 1. OKI C5900(PS) 2. Generic PCL 6/XL printer, Foomatic/pclcolor 3. Generic PCL 5c printer, Foomatic/hpijs Do one or more of them make your printer print reliably? -- Unable to print from Firefox or Thunderbird since installing Lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/597688 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
