@userdce It's not the card, it's the open source driver which in my view is still very much under development. The proprietary driver should be available which has been proven to resolve the issue. As described above, my laptop runs nearer 40 degrees C with the proprietary driver and it's a steady climb to around the 60 mark with the open source one. Ranting about the card isn't going to help anyone reach a solution.
