Hi :) I wouldn't wait for the fix to be developed as it is impossible to say even whether anyone is working on this or even interested in working on it. On the other hand an alpha or beta release of a patch might get posted to this thread tomorrow. It is just impossible to guess.
Given Murphy's Law it would be better to go with the assumption that it might take a long time for an effective patch or answer to ease tension. Most developers don't get paid for their work so they are driven by factors that are unusual in the present day. Installing a 9.10 or 8.04 is smart because those are the releases that still have 1 years support and the install doesn't really take that long once you have had practice. You are welcome for the links and things, hopefully they might help other people looking through this thread. Good luck and regards from Tom :) -- unable to get stream from http://www.fs.fed.us/outdoors/naturewatch/eaglecam.html https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/579685 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
