Clean installation of Ubuntu Server 10.04 i386.
Install of package mysql-server (5.1.41-3ubuntu12)
When I try:
$ sudo service mysql start
start: Job failed to start
The files are empty:
/var/log/mysql.err
/var/log/mysql.log
