crazybyte, can you try this with the latest 2.6.32-21 Lucid kernel (yes I know the report is against Karmic kernel). There have been several fixes there and that will help narrow this down. You can install the Lucid kernel package without upgrading to Lucid and be able to dual boot between the Karmic and Lucid kernels if this is a concern.
