What do you suggest then? I'm not sure if it's only my problem, or of everyone with NVIDIA binary driver. If only mine, any suggestion to fix this? If not only mine, this should somehow be fixed. I think that there is currently no full-featured open-source driver for nvidia cards, so disabling it is not really an option. Perhaps having a straightforward way to disable the fade-out might be a usable workaround.
