Hi Scott, Thank you for your efford in this! That might work, but I see this one in the same kind as editing the /etc/fstab and setting the sixth field (fs_passno) to 0: You have to permanently change something prior to booting. This doesn't work on a "once" basis like the Triggers -f and -F of shutdown. Besides that: That might work for ext2-4, but what if a fs doesn't support these specifications inside the fs like reiserfs?
