Nop, same problem (simple-scan2.log), but, there is another log (and fail??), the file simple-scan3.log was using Simple Scan 1. After used xsane and tested the scanner (fine test) and, 2. After try the TV Terminator Scanner (this is a tv card, but appear on the options of scanning, obviously Simple Scan failed, xsane also recognized it as a Scanner).
After this two tries I use Simple Scan again and the Scanner started to make noise (normal noise, initializing the scan), but It didn't work.
