You was completely right :) My scanner work with 75, 150, 300 and 600 dpi. But, there is a new problem, and I think that is another bug (i'm going to check for this bug or report it). Using 1200 dpi is fine, but, when I choose this value and start to scan, the result image is 2 sheets on one, one upon the other. And, when the scanner finish the first sheet it becomes to «scream» cracking because it tries to scan another area out of the bounds. Maybe this is a big problem cause this can crash a scanner. (the image is in the attachment)
In the other resolutions, the problem reported on this bug was present. The scanning failed. Here is the result of: ltrace scanimage 2>&1 | grep sane_ darkh...@bambu:~$ ltrace scanimage 2>&1 | grep sane_ sane_init(0x7fffdf4d8b84, 0x405ae0, 16896, 6, 0x408136) = 0 sane_get_devices(0x7fffdf4d8b70, 0, 0x7f8c62a66118, 0, 0x7f8c6283136a) = 0 sane_open(0x1739db0, 0x60b538, 0x7f8c62e92168, 0x7f8c62e92738, 0x7fffdf4d8950) = 0 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 0, 0, 0x7f8c62e922af, 0x7fffdf4d8960) = 0x179da58 sane_control_option(0x177c8c0, 0, 0, 0x7fffdf4d8b88, 0) = 0 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 0, 0x7f8c62a67e40, 0x1795600, 1) = 0x179da58 sane_control_option(0x177c8c0, 0, 0, 0x7fffdf4d8a7c, 0) = 0 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 1, 640, 0, 0x7fffdf4d8900) = 0x179da90 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 2, 0x7f8c61e4c764, 0x7f8c61e4caa8, 0x7fffdf4d8970) = 0x179dac8 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 3, 0x179e090, 2, 0x7fffdf4d8970) = 0x179db00 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 4, 0x179e0b0, 2, 0x7fffdf4d8970) = 0x179db38 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 5, 0x7f8c61e4c764, 0x7f8c61e4caa8, 0x7fffdf4d8970) = 0x179db70 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 6, 1, 0, 0x7f8c61e4c94b) = 0x179dba8 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 7, 1, 0, 0x7f8c61e4c95b) = 0x179dbe0 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 8, 1, 0, 0x7f8c61e4c96b) = 0x179dc18 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 9, 1, 0, 0x7f8c61e4c97f) = 0x179dc50 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 10, 0x7f8c61e4c764, 0x7f8c61e4caa8, 0x7fffdf4d8970) = 0x179dc88 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 11, 0x179e150, 0, 0x7fffdf4d8970) = 0x179dcc0 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 12, 0x179e170, 0, 0x7fffdf4d8970) = 0x179dcf8 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 13, 0x179e190, 0, 0x7fffdf4d8970) = 0x179dd30 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 14, 0x179e1b0, 0, 0x7fffdf4d8970) = 0x179dd68 sane_control_option(0x177c8c0, 7, 0, 0x60b650, 0) = 4 sane_control_option(0x177c8c0, 5, 0, 0x7fffdf4d8a78, 0) = 4 sane_control_option(0x177c8c0, 8, 0, 0x60b654, 0) = 4 sane_control_option(0x177c8c0, 6, 0, 0x7fffdf4d8a78, 0) = 4 sane_control_option(0x177c8c0, 5, 0, 0x7fffdf4d8b80, 0) = 4 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 7, 0x7fffdf4d8b7c, 0x7f8c61e4cd10, 0x7fffdf4d8950) = 0x179dbe0 sane_control_option(0x177c8c0, 6, 0, 0x7fffdf4d8b80, 0) = 4 sane_get_option_descriptor(0x177c8c0, 8, 0x7fffdf4d8b7c, 0x7f8c61e4cd10, 0x7fffdf4d8950) = 0x179dc18 sane_start(0x177c8c0, 0x7fffdf4d88c0, 0, -1, 0x7fffdf4d8970) = 0 sane_get_parameters(0x177c8c0, 0x7fffdf4d8b30, 0x7f8c62a67e40, 0x179e510, 1) = 0 sane_read(0x177c8c0, 0x179e520, 32768, 0x7fffdf4d8b7c, 1) = 5 sane_cancel(0x177c8c0, 0, 0, -1, 0x7f8c63293700) = 0 sane_close(0x177c8c0, 0, 0x7f8c62a67330, 0x7f8c62a67330, 0) = 0 sane_exit(0x7f8c62a67e40, 0, -32, 96992, 0x7f8c61e4c764) = 0x7f8c63094220 darkh...@bambu:~$ Thanks again :) ** Attachment added: "Selección_004.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/39343029/Selecci%C3%B3n_004.png -- sane_start() returns SANE_STATUS_IO_ERROR [lexmark] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/521790 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
