Thank you for trying the possible solution, and sorry it did not work. Unfortunately, we currently do not have enough information to officially confirm your bug since there do not seem to be any other reports of others experiencing the same issue. If you could please clarify a few more questions for me, we will hopefully be able to find a solution for you, or at the very least get this report filed to the right developers.
1. Did you run the 'sudo apt-get update' command each time you switched servers? 2. After switching servers, did you try installing the package in the Software Center as well as Synaptic? 3. Have you tried installing from the terminal? ('sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad') 4. I am not able to find a "gstreamer0.10 plugins bad" in the Software Center. Could you please type the exact title of the package you are attempting to install using the Software Center? I'm sorry that you have encountered a problem such as this so early in your transition to Ubuntu, but we appreciate your willingness to respond and help resolve the issue. -- cannot download gstreamer0.10plugins bad https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/511632 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
