The bug doesn't appear so far under Ubuntu 9.10. I presume it is a
9.04-related bug. With 9.10 I also have no problems with Usplash
anymore.
>From my experience so far I would recommend the subscribers to make a
switch to (K)Ubuntu 9.10.
