One line in guidance-power-manager.desktop is: "X-GNOME-autostart-enabled = False" The idea of maxdata to rename guidance-power-manager in gnome-power- manager is working and the user has by the next update a hopefully fixed gnome-power-manager. What's wrong in this method? Please write it so that we can find another solution....
