Beni - Bug 435352 might be worth a read. To get the USB ports working you can :
1. Rebuild your kernel as outlined at Bug #435352 2. Turn off the camera with the Fn F6 keys at the login screen (you only need to do it once). 3. Disable uvcvideo as described at comment #157 above.
