Same problem for me: fresh install 9.10 download iso, verified. Can log in to terminal session or failsafe Gnome and system runs fine. Will log in to normal Gnome desktop OK, but first mouse click will lock X session solid... no mouse, no KB, have to hard reboot with power switch. Mainboard: ECS 945GCT-M ver. 1.0, using onboard Intel graphics.
