Hi Joshua, I'm glad to hear you and to have help from you. Unfortunatly i'm using NetworkManager, so i suppose it would be useless for me to test the beta you are telling about... or maybe not... should i try anyway?

Are you using NetworkManager? Based on the log files provided, I can't tell what the cause may be. Sometimes, when NetworkManager isn't used we will see these more cryptic errors. We just released a new version in our PPA that removes the requirement for NetworkManager. So, if you're not using NetworkManager, please use this new version.
