Hi Stefano, I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you. Are you using NetworkManager? Based on the log files provided, I can't tell what the cause may be. Sometimes, when NetworkManager isn't used we will see these more cryptic errors. We just released a new version in our PPA that removes the requirement for NetworkManager. So, if you're not using NetworkManager, please use this new version. You can use this version of the client by adding the beta PPA (deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntuone/beta/ubuntu karmic main ) to your package sources and then from a terminal session:
