@Otkay: 1) The Netbook is my only 32-bit machine, and I didn't envision that a compile would take so long. Furthermore, with only compiling to a bzImage and replacing an exisitng (identical, except the udelay value) one, this method is down to less than 10 minutes. Setting up a distcc / cross-compiler would have been more elaborate. Just mentioning that I'm well aware of the options here.
2) You are right, but I originally throught that this would be a more local exercise :-) Something learned for next time :-) I have submitted the findings to the linux-usb and linux-uvc-devel MLs. -- regression: uvcvideo module makes "cannot reset port" error on usb with bison webcam (5986:0203): USB and suspend fails https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/435352 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
