Well, let me just preface this by saying that I'm a computer user with decades of experience and have updated my BIOS dozens of times before. However, when I recently tried to resolve this issue by updating my BIOS I mis-typed the downloaded filename while using the AWDFLASH utility. AWDFLASH hosed my BIOS and the board won't post. I had to order a new motherboard after trying to clear the CMOS for well over an hour with no luck. I think it would be a mistake to officially recommend a BIOS update to even the experienced user due to the severity of screwing up. I'm still waiting for my replacement mobo to arrive.
