Funnily enough I got this error message only *once*, and after an upgrade (I think it was still during beta-time) and a reboot it did not appear again. (When the message first occurred it did not do any harm, btw)
Board: ASUS A8N5X (BIOS revision 1003 beta, there isn't anything newer than that) CPU: AMD Athlon64 3500+ GPU: NVidia Geforce 7800GT 1,5GB DDR1 RAM What somehow irritates me is the fact that this error occurred when my BIOS/Board-Battery went empty (so there was a BIOS reset to defaults before that). There isn't any option regarding ECC, though, and I'm not even sure if I have got ECC Ram. -- EDAC amd64: WARNING: ECC is NOT currently enabled by the BIOS. Module will NOT be loaded. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/422536 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
