Hi Brian, I am using Ubuntu 7.04 . I had done an update last night so prolly its Herd 3 now. The version of VLC that is present in my Ubuntu installation is "0.8.6.release-0ubuntu1". I hope this information is sufficient. Feel free to ping me for further details.
