I tried Ubuntu Karmic Alpha 6 64bit and the issue seems to be resolved there. However, I also tried the Xubuntu Karmic Alpha 6 64bit and still having the same problem there: no mouse after sleep/wake. Interesting... I'll try the final versions before install, in any case... I never installed Jaunty just because of this problem.
