Okay, now that I reinstalled the system and dared to update again (the other bug stopping the boot process is fixed now, thanks :-)) I can give some more detailed informations.
The error message really comes up at every boot and by clicking on close it does come back up. However this time, it only came up twice and then seemed to (for now) close finally for this session. The warning message was definitly not there on the freshly installed karmic alpha 5, so it must have come by an update afterwards. -- WARNING: at /build/buildd/linux-2.6.31/include/net/mac80211.h:2104 minstrel_get_rate+0x1ef/0x470 [mac80211]() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/429855 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
