Hi Guys, I'm actually going to reassign this to the "linux (Ubuntu)" kernel package rather than against linux-meta. I'm also tagging this regression-potential to make sure it gets on everyone's radar.
I will note that we saw quite a few regressions such as this with the 2.6.31-7 Ubuntu kernel. We're currently working on ripping out some of the KSM patches that went in which we believe might be the culprit and indeed what @Hernando Torque has likely narrowed down by disabling CONFIG_KSM . Please continue to track and test any kernel updates that get pushed and let us know your results. Thanks! ** Package changed: linux-meta (Ubuntu) => linux (Ubuntu) ** Tags added: regression-potential -- [Karmic] Hangs during shutdown with kernel 2.6.31-7 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/418509 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
