If you want me to answer sooner you can get me directly at roberto.dere...@unipr.it I am now on kernel 2.6.27-11-generic. My sound is now working. Now I have the following final lines in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base # Keep snd-pcsp from beeing loaded as first soundcard options snd-pcsp index=-2 options snd-hda-intel model=auto # fujitsu # commented out after upgrade to 1.0.19 by /usr/local/src/AlsaUpgrade-1.0.x-rev- 1.16.sh I have a messy recollection of how I got it to work, since I also used one headset which works on other pcs but it does not on the Fujitsu (an intermittent-hardwar-error ?), which of course confused the debugging. I assume all is fine now. Do you want me to run further check? Thanks Roberto -- mic does not work under Ubuntu 8.10 on Fujitsu T5010 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/307810 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
