Thanks. I added it because it made it easier for me to work on the apport-retrace changes. This way all the informaiton that are required to run "appport-retrace" on the crash file are availabe right after the createion of the crash file. The use case is that some users may just want to do a local retrace. Given that the information added is very cheaply available it seems to do no harm.
