I was initially opposed to this change as a default, but having spoken to a friend who upgraded to Jaunty just after the release I am much happier about the idea of testing it on 'the masses'. My friend, who is quite technical (works in the IT department in a school), said he preferred the new system because before he would just ignore the orange icon (even though he knew what it meant).
