Binary package hint: apt
On a french ubuntu feisty, doing apt-get dist-upgrade gives english words on
one string (see at the end).
This is also visible in update-notifier and synaptic.
I can't see this string in rosetta so that i don't know how to help.
also I am not sure how to clearly translate it but i can propose : Lecture de
