In order to get Wings3D running, just do what Jonathan and Francois- Denis said: update libsdl-erlang.
Go to http://packages.debian.org/unstable/libs/libsdl-erlang and scroll down to find the appropriate download for your architecture. Download the .deb file, and install. Easy as that.
