Autopackage is a trojan. If the user executes a typical .package script it downloads "autopackage support files" from the Internet and executes them. These files use sudo to install autopackage files all over the filesystem, to add autopackage items to the menu, etc. This succeeds if the user has done anything in the shell with sudo in the previous fifteen minutes.
