I think there is somehting broken. The Nvidia's settings application displays my monitor (SyncMaster 913N) correctly, while the normal gnome application does not. I am unstable in the gnome application to rotate my screen. Thus options are missing and the monitor was not detected correctly. I should still be able to use the gnome application even if the Nvidia application allows me to configure more.
