I am also having what I am guessing is this problem. It happened around the time of Jaunty Alpha 5's release as my Internet was unaffected earlier. The disconnect is between my computer and my router, which can be verified by transfers on the LAN and WAN being interrupted. Firefox and all other apps are affected.
The router is fairly new (DLink DIR 655 Wireless N Series) so I'm unsure why it would not be able to switch between IPV6 and IPV4 as the other commenter noted regarding his Belkin router.
