sojourner: Could you repeat the previous strace command, but this time add the -tt option to strace to produce timestamps? Sorry I didn't ask for this earlier. Could you also please confirm that your ifconfig output is the same as before (I'm specifically interested in the "inet6 addr:" lines)?
I'm going to reopen this bug, since sojourner was the original reporter, but at a reduced severity since it is no longer affecting so many people. I would GREATLY appreciate it if anyone else who believes that they have a similar problem would please file a separate bug; this one has already got very confusing. ** Changed in: glibc (Ubuntu Jaunty) Importance: Critical => High Status: Fix Released => Triaged -- IPV6 causes slow internet access https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/313218 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
