Now I applied the "add get_vblank_counter function for GM45" patch as well (so that I had both this one and the "capture last_vblank count at IRQ uninstall time too" one). After one suspend/resume roundtrip I still get the >1sec freezes consistently. Note that I have a G45 (a desktop machine) and not the mobile GM45 chipset (maybe these patches removes the freezes from GM45 laptops?).
