OK, done: bug 321030 I've still this bug with a MacBook Pro (Core 2 Duo Penryn), Ubuntu 8.10 (64-bit) and hal 0.5.11-4ubuntu4. The keys F1/F2 (brightness) and F5/F6 (backlight) don't work. Press these keys (with fn or not) does nothing.
