***************************************************************************** ** ** PTHREAD SUPPORT MODE ERROR: ** ** Ruby is not compiled with --enable-pthread, but your Tcl/Tk ** library seems to be compiled with pthread support. This ** combination may cause frequent hang or segmentation fault ** errors when Ruby/Tk is working. We recommend that you NEVER ** create the library with such a combination of pthread support. ** ** Please recompile Ruby with the "--enable-pthread" configure option ** or recompile Tcl/Tk with the "--disable-threads" configure option. ** ***************************************************************************** Perhaps it would be better to have ruby1.8-nopthreads and ruby1.8-pthreads packages... -sq -- ruby1.8: pthreads kills performance https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/317206 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
