As a corollary, **PLEASE*** drop the 400_enable_embedded_video.diff patch ASAP and from all affected branches. As the original author, I cannot stress enough that this patch is WRONG.
The embedded video output remains broken to this day, and re-enabling will simply expose users to its bugs. Besides, there is hardly any chance that we (upstream) sort it out within the VLC 0.9.x timeframe. -- VLC 0.9.4 has lots of bugs.
