Thanks for the promptness of the answer.
I have not camera USB, but a integrated one to my notebook.
The problem I turn back seems quite common, since I found several pages giving
notice of it, such as the one that follows:

To me it does not seem to be a bug, because it worked under Hardy before and
does not today.
I would guess that some part of your hardware broke.
Do you use an USB webcam?
Could you try to boot without it?

Bug description:
The problem occurred in both packages 8.10 and 8.04.
The startup is slow, very slow.
It occurred after the installation of 8.10 (I do not know if after the upgrade
or not). I reinstall the 8.04 version, which worked well until the system
update, then the problem happen just as before.
I attach log to today's date.
