Still, libltdl3 isn't supposed to be necessary in intrepid. Can you please try
sudo apt-get install --reinstall libgphoto2-2 and then check that ldd /usr/lib/libgphoto2/print-camera-list|grep tdl doesn't require libltdl3 any more?
